Welcome to Thriplow & Fowlmere Womens Institute.

We meet on the second Thursday of every month at 7.15pm in Thriplow Village Hall. Joining the WI can lead to lasting friendships and is an excellent way of getting to know other people in the villages. You will always find a friendly welcome as you enter the Hall and there is always someone at the end of the telephone if you need information, support or just a chat!

We always try to offer a varied programme of interesting talks and visits to try to reflect the many and varied interest and backgrounds of our members.

This year we are hoping to welcome many more members from each village. In the past year we have new members from both villages. The committee this year is made up of four members from Thriplow and 3 members from Fowlmere.

We ensure that our activities are reported to the Press and articles appear regularly in the local Thriplow & Fowlmere News. Posters about our monthly meetings as well as our annual programme are displayed in the Village Post Offices. We also now have our own website which can be accessed through www.fowlmerevillage.com/wi

Thriplow and Fowlmere is part of a national network and there are opportunities to join in activities at a Group, County or national level. All these events are advertised at our monthly meetings.

Remember the WI is a modern voice for women - today's women working for tomorrow's world.
